      “I knew what he was going to do, I knew what was in his hand, but I still lost”…

      Maybe that is why many high-level players don’t bother eliminating their tells – good technical play trumps strong mental play almost every time, so with limited testing/improving time, work on technical play pays off more than work on the mental game.
