“bring me my rape shoes?” are you fcukin’ serious?
wow… you’re ret@rded
trample DOES work the way you said it did not… comp rules excerpt:
–”702.17b …Example: A 6/6 green creature with trample is blocked by a 2/2 creature with protection from green. The attacking creature’s controller must assign at least 2 damage to the blocker, even though that damage will be prevented by the blocker’s protection ability. The attacking creature’s controller can divide the rest of the damage as he or she chooses between the blocking creature and the defending player.”
I think you need clown shoes.
Seriously.
A quick correction; your opponent was playing his trample creature correctly. When you block a creature with trample the attacking player has to assign at least lethal damage to the blocking creature(s) ignoring any protection abilities. So, if he was attacking with a black 8/8 trampling creature and you blocked with your White Knight he can assign 2 damage to your Knight and trample over for the remaining 6 damage.
@matt t is that all you have to do with your time is go and biotch about everyone’s podcasts? Dude you need to relax.
As far as the trample goes Gabriel is totally correct.
Good show guys
I have to endorse your recommendation of The Wrestler. It was an amazing movie. I’m not even a little bit into wrestling but the acting is so good and the movie feels so real that it doesn’t matter. If you haven’t seen it do so ASAP.
i am officially done listening to this podcast. i gave the benefit of the doubt because you were newer to magic and podcasting. i really liked the format and the addition of a second person but this whole thing about taking over MNM’s comment box with “rape shoes” is ridiculous and not even remotely funny. instead of trying to have a gimmick, concentrate on actual content
nothing against jordan or his podcast. i wish you guys the best. just my personal preference. maybe i am too old, haha
Jake it was eant asa joke but that is fine if you dont its coolwithut dalton to keep me normal i get a little dumb i know
as for mtt lam down it was a clip from robot chicken ivolving the wizar of oz that was onwhen i did the show.
Jordan I didn’t think the rape shoes comment was funny either but I do understand you didn’t have any bad intent behind it. If you begin by saying something like rape isn’t funny then it’s probably not a good idea to talk about bringing you rape shoes. Sometimes things you talk about with your boys isn’t the kind of thing you want to put on a public forum. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move on.
All these people who comment about rape shoes are made by the type of people who can’t take a joke about themselves. He made a joke sure it wasn’t that funny, but you don’t have to make a post about it attacking him. Grow up,
@Greg When you say “All these people” I assume you are referring to the 2 people who were talking trash about it.
WORST !!!!! podcast on the MTGcast network.
I disappear for one week and all hell brakes loose.
if you read my comment i was more concerned with you disrupting other shows comments that may not want to be associated with such things, not being offended by the thought of rape shoes in general. anybody that plays call of duty with me knows i use the word rape on a regular basis.
once again, not trash talking this show, just more like looking out for the integrity of other shows.
