Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of Planeswalking with the Proffessors. This week we’re live at Edison “Noo Joosey” (as pronunciated by the cardproffessor and one of the people taking the interviews) and we’ll be covering, in this first part what people were playing, what the best card in standard is and why, what the best card no one’s playing is, the reason Mike Flores and Brian David Marshal (along with many others) refused to be put on camera, and more! (which is basically the chep way of saying, I’m running out of space to type this message in and can’t fit everything else that we did while there.)

In possibly my best effort yet I use new vinyette, dimensional, and pick-up style shooting, and, not only do we have 11 minutes of footage here, but you can expect episode 31b coming later this week to check out a finals match of Merfolk versus Rock and hear even more of my rambling to cover everything that’s occured this week…so let’s go! (No seriously you were reading that whole thing, cuz, if so you might as well go and just enjoy the video)

So what did you think of the Regionals footage? How’d you do? I’d love to hear all that and any other rambling on the subject you might want to mention.
As for news this week we’ve got to pick up the scraps about Regionals, the changes coming Shards of Alara, the return and significance of different types of fear in magic, and flavor involved in product coming soon, so -let’s draw!
To begin, for Regionals, despite the fact that the deck had an extremely good performance on Magic Workstation, I ended up going only 4-3 at Regionals.

In this episode the proffessors simply take a trip to the local card store, to ask some questions, get some interviews, see some deckboxes built, but ultimately, create a story. In possibly my best live episode yet this tops just about anything I’ve ever made.

Hello everybody and welcome to a better-late-then-never episode of Planeswalkin with the Proffessors. While all the fans out there have now missed an approximate 10 minutes of my ranting… poor them you’ll get to hear more now! To summarize Wednesdays episode that was not to be, I talked about Gary Gygax, how he affected Magic, the importance of crunching numbers in Magic, some awesome new news and magical orbs about Shadowmoor, and how Wizards might get new players into the game more easily, and while I’m sure I’ll cover that further in depth in the weeks to come, there’s a time to move on and that time is now! THIS episode of the Proffessors I’ll cover an in-depth analysis of a recent Winston draft between I and a friend. And while the outcome of the match was indeed disappointing I create these videos based around drafting to get better at editing, but ya know, getting better at Magic might be nice too…some day.

While all the fans out there have now missed an approximate 10 minutes of my ranting... poor them you'll get to hear more now! To summarize Wednesdays episode that was not to be, I talked about Gary Gygax, how he affected Magic, the importance of crunching numbers in Magic, some awesome new news and magical orbs about Shadowmoor, and how Wizards might get new players into the game more easily, and while I'm sure I'll cover that further in depth in the weeks to come, there's a time to move on and that time is now! THIS episode of the Proffessors I'll cover an in-depth analysis of a recent Winston draft between I and a friend. And while the outcome of the match was indeed disappointing I create these videos based around drafting to get better at editing, but ya know, getting better at Magic might be nice too...some day.</itunes:summary>

Hello everybody out there on the interweb, and welcome to another episode of Planeswalkin with the Proffessors, and another episode of Ahoy. This month, March 2008 when we planeswalk, we’ll take a look at several different, new, dumbfounding yet believably reasonable rules for engineering Ahoy. When covering this topic we’ll take a look at some new resources as well as some new ideas, and a new all powerful question for you, the masses to answer! Before beginning I’d like to thank everyone who’s helped get Ahoy to this point, especially an artist and dedicated player, Darksys92. Now to the sailing of the waves, the green-blue of the sea and my obnoxious ranting, so let’s go!

At Grand Prix Philly the proffessors interviewed the pros, including Louis Scott Vargas, Adam Yurchik, and Patrick Chapin, and some other great undiscovered players. We get the great new scenes, and even the finals of the Grand Prix!

For those of you thinking I’m shooting myself in the foot with this subject you might be right, but nonetheless there’s somethin to be said for breaking new ground. Speaking of breaking new ground we’ve got some new news on the theme, and my humble perspective of Shadowmoor, as well as the new changes to the extended format. …And, of course how to get that krinkly noise when you open a pack, let’s see how I fare with that later on in the show, so let’s go!
