In possibly the best episode (with the best intro) ever produced the proffessors take a trip to edison for the new set’s prerelease, for the third and last time and get interviews with lots of viewers of the show, some new players, some old, the tournament organizer, and an artist to boot!

While there I signed 4 firesprout (!) and 2 Vensers (after playing against me, taking an interview, and realizing that I was playing with Venser sleeves, Joe (sorry I forgot your last name), realized that I was “the proffessors guy”, and asked to have a venser signed which, I’m impressed, he had recently bought knowing I’d be there

Andrew’s lip syncing is purposely hilariously off for the purpose of an inside joke about anime

Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of Planeswalking with the Proffessors. This week we’re live at Edison “Noo Joosey” (as pronunciated by the cardproffessor and one of the people taking the interviews) and we’ll be covering, in this first part what people were playing, what the best card in standard is and why, what the best card no one’s playing is, the reason Mike Flores and Brian David Marshal (along with many others) refused to be put on camera, and more! (which is basically the chep way of saying, I’m running out of space to type this message in and can’t fit everything else that we did while there.)

In possibly my best effort yet I use new vinyette, dimensional, and pick-up style shooting, and, not only do we have 11 minutes of footage here, but you can expect episode 31b coming later this week to check out a finals match of Merfolk versus Rock and hear even more of my rambling to cover everything that’s occured this week…so let’s go! (No seriously you were reading that whole thing, cuz, if so you might as well go and just enjoy the video)

To begin, for Regionals, despite the fact that the deck had an extremely good performance on Magic Workstation, I ended up going only 4-3 at Regionals.

Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of Planeswalking with the Proffessors. In this strictly deckbuilding special we’re gonna layout what new decks have penetrated and will penetrate the meta, what cards you should be expecting from Shadowmoor to give a loud thump on the Standard door at the Starcitygames 5k this weekend, and explore a couple of new decklists including a new Wither deck that might just pass as a plausible tier 1 so let’s go!

In this episode the proffessors simply take a trip to the local card store, to ask some questions, get some interviews, see some deckboxes built, but ultimately, create a story. In possibly my best live episode yet this tops just about anything I’ve ever made.

Unscripted, but still good (I’ve been busy with school finals and being away sorry for the unscriptedness) so enjoy!

This episode could be described as something along the lines of short but sweet. Kind of like Shadowmoor…or dark chocolate. While at the prerelease I signed 6 Advice of the Fae and 5 Firesprouts, and was recognized by an astounding (insert pathetic number here) 8 people outside my party! Anyway, I present to you episode 23!

Hello everybody and welcome to a better-late-then-never episode of Planeswalkin with the Proffessors. While all the fans out there have now missed an approximate 10 minutes of my ranting… poor them you’ll get to hear more now! To summarize Wednesdays episode that was not to be, I talked about Gary Gygax, how he affected Magic, the importance of crunching numbers in Magic, some awesome new news and magical orbs about Shadowmoor, and how Wizards might get new players into the game more easily, and while I’m sure I’ll cover that further in depth in the weeks to come, there’s a time to move on and that time is now! THIS episode of the Proffessors I’ll cover an in-depth analysis of a recent Winston draft between I and a friend. And while the outcome of the match was indeed disappointing I create these videos based around drafting to get better at editing, but ya know, getting better at Magic might be nice too…some day.

This month, March 2008 when we planeswalk, we’ll take a look at several different, new, dumbfounding yet believably reasonable rules for engineering Ahoy.
