Sorry for the delay on part 3. This one is the end of GP Denver. Alex Lee joins us for about 25 minutes. The bus gets turbo charged for the next 1 hour 50 mins after that as Chapin, Kibler, Black and the winner of the Grand Prix, Gerry Thompson, take control and talk about everything from the GP to poker to stories of old school magic players. …The Finale of the Saga, or so you might have thought… Day 3 of GP:Denver

Ok, I during this entire series of 7 GP:Denver Podcasts that I posted during the past 36 hours for my show, I left a lot of details to be determined by the website reader on what transpired…

In most of these PodCasts, there were a variety of Magic Professional Players being interviewed between 1 and 15 minutes each, as I walked around the site doing “walk-up with Microphone coverage” efforts, as well as round-by-round coverage of what I did in the Grand Prix itself. These podcasts included people such as Patrick Chapin, Lee Steht, Antonio De Rosa, Sam Black, Conely Woods, and a number of other local players and Magic Professional Players.

Overall, an excellent series of PodCasts for the Masses.

James Cagle and I did another 4-6 hours of recorded Material for The Magic School Bus show as well, including a nearly 2 hour solid section where Patrick Chapin was “Guest-Hosting” the show. That should be up sometime within the week, as James is doing the editing of that material. That portion is absolutely “SOLID GOLD” material, in every facet of the term. The total material may be broken up into several chunks of PodCasts in the near term.

GP:Denver — DAY 1 — GRINDERS-A-PLENTY! 14 in all, before the TO decided to pull the plug on them at 8:30 p.m. Just think, at just over 8 hours, we had 14 new people with 3 Byes into the GP… What would WotC do if the LCQs were like that?!?

GP:Denver is coming soon… T-Minus 9 Days and Counting. GP: Kobe is all but on top of us already.

Approximately 25-30 people from Colorado made the trek south to “Rainy New Mexico”, in search of that elusive PTQ Slot for PT:Hollywood. In my car, we had Bruce Nix, Shea Hart, Paul Bradford, Dan Southard, and myself on route. This adventure starts the very same day as my Divorce being finalized in the El Paso County Courts, and ends as we drive home from one of the major Casinos that exists just north of Albequerque, New Mexico.
