<p><strong><u><font size="2">This Week in Magic</font></u></strong><br />
Gavin fills us in on the awesomeness of being interviewed by BDM in his most recent article, &#8220;<a href="http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/bd341" target="_blank">Getting to Know Gavin Verhey</a>&#8220;. Check out the <a href="http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=122607" target="_blank">new foil Brion Stoutarm promo</a> that has been spotted. Aaron Nicastri wins the <a href="http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgevent/aunat08/welcome" target="_blank">2008 Australian National Championship</a> with a <a href="http://www.magiccards.info/autocard.php?card=Swans%20of%20Bryn%20Argoll" onclick="AutoCard('Swans of Bryn Argoll'); return false;" title="Swans of Bryn Argoll">Swans of Bryn Argoll</a> + <a href="http://www.magiccards.info/autocard.php?card=Seismic%20Assault" onclick="AutoCard('Seismic Assault'); return false;" title="Seismic Assault">Seismic Assault</a> deck!</p>
<p>Tom and Derek also discuss the PTQ in Madison. Derek gives us some of the hints on playing the Faeries mirror match and Tom happily reports that the BR <a href="http://www.magiccards.info/autocard.php?card=Blowfly%20Infestation" onclick="AutoCard('Blowfly Infestation'); return false;" title="Blowfly Infestation">Blowfly Infestation</a> deck did better than expected, winning against a Faeries deck, completing CRUSHING Kithkin and wearing a home-made <a href="http://www.magiccards.info/autocard.php?card=Blowfly%20Infestation" onclick="AutoCard('Blowfly Infestation'); return false;" title="Blowfly Infestation">Blowfly Infestation</a> shirt to the PTQ. This Week in Magic
Gavin fills us in on the awesomeness of being interviewed by BDM in his most recent article, "Getting to Know Gavin Verhey". Check out the new foil Brion Stoutarm promo that has been spotted. Aaron Nicastri wins the 2008 Australian National Championship with a Swans of Bryn Argoll + Seismic Assault deck!

Tom and Derek also discuss the PTQ in Madison. Derek gives us some of the hints on playing the Faeries mirror match and Tom happily reports that the BR Blowfly Infestation deck did better than expected, winning against a Faeries deck, completing CRUSHING Kithkin and wearing a home-made Blowfly Infestation shirt to the PTQ. Check out this picture of the "Blowfly Brothers" who wanted some signed Blowfly Infestation's. Here is the decklist I ended up playing (largely due to the cards I had available!):

Deck

Spells:
4x Lash Out
4x Puncture Bolt
4x Nameless Inversion
1x Incendiary Command
3x Incremental Blight
1x Beseech the Queen

Enchantments:
4x Blowfly Infestation

Creatures:
4x Murderous Redcap
3x Dusk Urchin
4x Ashenmoor Gouger
2x Kulrath Knight
Artifacts:
2x Trip Noose

Lands:
11x Swamp
8x Mountain
4x Vivid Marsh
1x Graven Cairn

Emails, Comments and COMMENT CONTEST!
The winner this week of the SIGNED Prismatic Wardrobe and Double Dip is ... Swineheart!

This is a new weekly contest where I announce a question on the podcast, you post a response (or story) on the MTGSalvation forum for replies to the episode and you can win a card hand-selected from Tom's large collection (and winner is announced on the next week's show).

This week's question is: What new decks are you building with Eventide?
Prize of the week: SIGNED (by Tom) Blowfly Infestation!

This installment of The Magic School Bus, we are live from the Crown Plaza, site of the Prelease and a GPT and the future site of Grand Prix Denver. <P><br />
We have many guests on the show this week, and everyone was pretty tired from over 12 hours of Magic. Though one of the more racy episodes we have ever had, we had a lot of fun in a very casual atmosphere.<P><br />
