This time we hit the road for the PTQ in Denver, on July 19th, and the GPT in Longmont on July 20th. Sometimes the coins will flip in your favor. Othertimes, they will not.

Featuring: Rick Ashby, Kevin Moynihan, Paul Bradford, and others along with myself. We try to blaze a trail through the last of the Pre-Eventide events for Block Constructed that still remained on our calendar.

Part B:

In possibly the best episode (with the best intro) ever produced the proffessors take a trip to edison for the new set’s prerelease, for the third and last time and get interviews with lots of viewers of the show, some new players, some old, the tournament organizer, and an artist to boot!

While there I signed 4 firesprout (!) and 2 Vensers (after playing against me, taking an interview, and realizing that I was playing with Venser sleeves, Joe (sorry I forgot your last name), realized that I was “the proffessors guy”, and asked to have a venser signed which, I’m impressed, he had recently bought knowing I’d be there

Andrew’s lip syncing is purposely hilariously off for the purpose of an inside joke about anime

and

Remember to stick around for episode 36b with Randy Gallegos, magic the gathering artist.

This Week in Magic
Gavin fills us in on the awesomeness of being interviewed by BDM in his most recent article, “Getting to Know Gavin Verhey“. Check out the new foil Brion Stoutarm promo that has been spotted. Aaron Nicastri wins the 2008 Australian National Championship with a Swans of Bryn Argoll + Seismic Assault deck!

Tom and Derek also discuss the PTQ in Madison. Derek gives us some of the hints on playing the Faeries mirror match and Tom happily reports that the BR Blowfly Infestation deck did better than expected, winning against a Faeries deck, completing CRUSHING Kithkin and wearing a home-made Blowfly Infestation shirt to the PTQ. The Magic School Bus episode 12 is rated PG-13 for adult language, Adult discussion and psycological nudity.

This installment of The Magic School Bus, we are live from the Crown Plaza, site of the Prelease and a GPT and the future site of Grand Prix Denver.

We have many guests on the show this week, and everyone was pretty tired from over 12 hours of Magic. Though one of the more racy episodes we have ever had, we had a lot of fun in a very casual atmosphere.
