This week CommanderCast has completely run out of money and as a result, it talking about Pauper Commander. In a world of only common cards, how does the landscape of Commander games change? Andy has this format variant explained to him by Donovan, Carlos, and guest host Adam Styborski. The rule set variations, acceptable rarities for Commanders, strategies that run on no money, and Pauper tech are all touched on.
If you need more Commander-related stuff, I recommend http://commandercast.blogspot.com/ for articles, videos, and more.

An interesting episode guys. Thank you.
An alternate approach to playing and deckbulding in Pauper Commander which I like, is to set every players life total to 30 instead of 40, General damages at 19 instead of 21 and use Uncommon creatures (Legendary or not) as Generals. The somewhat lower life total help limit boards stalemates, or at least make them easier to break, and Uncommon Generals allows effects which are usually not seen with Common cards, without breaking (too much) the spirit of Pauper.

I like more subject focused casts like this one. I’m not personally interested in Pauper Commader, but it was a fun listen. Thanks.
