This week on Limited Resources Jon and Marshall welcome Pro Tour Statistician Rich Hagon (@MTGRich) on the show to talk about limited. Rich is an accomplished limited player himself and has been working on some cool programs at home to get his local community even better at limited. We also talk with Jon about how things are going at the Community Cup here at WotC headquarters in Renton, WA!

OMG Jon made me blush with the closing comment.
I don’t know if you (Marshall and Jon) read these comments but if you do, I’d like to offer some advice. This hasn’t happened with other guests on the show but it really affected my ability as a listener to listen, and that is letting your guest speak! Rich was making some GREAT commentary about teaching and breaking down an “8 step system” for learning to draft. He also had some stellar analogies (ex: jazz improvisation) and he’s just a really engaging speaker; I’m going to go back and listen to his spiel again! I had a difficult time, however, hearing what he was saying because he seemed to be frequently interrupted! It seemed like every one of his sentences was capped off with a “Yup”, “Right”, “For Sure” or some affirmative comment from Marshall — which not only detracted from my ability to listen very closely to what Rich was saying, but also gave the impression that everything Rich was saying was already apparent, which, at least for me, was not! A great show. I download it and listen to it on road trips.
