I ended day one in 29th… so I think I played against the guest on the show in the first draft in day 2
Wait nevermind, I rembmer you now! We played you in the last draft of the day, we finished in 10th. We went 1-1 against you in the last day! I had to scoop to you cause I missed registering a card =[
But since we both ended 1-1 it kicked us up to 10th and 11th place and it was perfect for prize money, cause even if either of our teams 2-0′d eachother we wouldn’t have won any more or less. Good games man
And yeah you got me with the pursuit of flight man.. haha. Starting hand had 3 swamps, annihilating fire, splatterthug, ogrejailbreaker. Kept it. I did hit the second mountain, but not till your guy was enchanted to 4/4. I thought I’d maybe be fine but then I crapped myself when you stole my jailbreaker and had dropped a gate the turn before. GG haha

It was a pleasure to play against you in the those last two rounds. You guys crushed us in our first match. I got super lucky that you got a game loss because your deck was very good and could have probably easily 2-0ed me if you had drawn better. Hope to see you at the next one. GG

It probably made sense when I posted it but I can’t remember posting it which probably means I was intoxicated so you can ignore it
Haven’t played since ’05… I played ALOT in high school from 95-97, then went off to college and played less, then went off to the Army and didn’t play at all… I got home from the Army in ’05 and thought it would be fun to go to a sealed deck tournament with some friends… I thought “how much could it have changed?” Got shut out and lost to an unshowered 12 yr old. This was when my self-esteem hit rock bottom and I stopped playing. Recently I’ve been traveling a lot for work and in my quest for stuff to listen to on the road/plane/whatever, I stumbled on your podcast. I listened to it driving back and forth from Syracuse NY to Fort Drum and found it pretty engaging. Thanks!
