Show was originally titled “Tapped Out!”, but that show title was already being used and the series is being re-named “Attacking for Game”, onto the show!

this episode is like the equivalent of alpha, we didn’t really know what we were doing but we managed to put out a product.

Really?
Really MTGCast?
Wanted to stab my ears for listening to this. Worse than Jack’s “introduction” to us some time ago, except with young kids. Chill out and slow down.
No offense. :-/
this show was really annoying to listen to. i got through about 10 mins before i was like “i cant listen to this anymore” but i continued to listen for about 7 more mins before proceeding to switch to a different show. it sucks. dont put out anymore shows please.
A magic podcast by preteens for preteens?
WORST CAST EVER, worst than the failcast Cards ahoy.
kids with A.D.D and audio equipment messing around and eventually talking about magic by reading the Wikipidia on the chronological order of set release.
it wasnt so bad, once i muted it…
sam, from teferis puzzle box.
The previous 5 responses pretty much sum up how I feel.
i could feel myself dying……(and i kept asking myself why am i still listening? oh god why!?)
i reached 16:55…
wait, its 17:21, 22, 23….
shucks…
u guys should make a contest:
“how long can you listen to us before you shove pencils in your ears?”
So I guess I’m the only one who’s not going to be a dick?
Okay then “Attacking for Game” you all seem knowledgeable and i know doing this probably seemed fun. Just so pointers from another caster. You guys need to slow down, I was like you are, Spastic that is. 100 too many Standard Tournament i guess. don’t talk all at once don’t let people discourage you from playing an awesome and talking about. I think if you guys set down to do another podcast it will be better and as long as you’re having fun, trying, and getting better; that is all we could ask of you.
Good luck
Daniel
I didn’t care for the podcast, but I do wish you the best of luck, and if you put out a second episode I’ll give it a listen. A few suggestions to consider:
1: If you are all recording in the same room, try using some thumbtacks to put up blankets (preferably comforters) on the walls. This will help increase the sound quality, but removing some of the echo, and will also help deepen the sound of your voices a bit, which will make what you are saying more legible.
2: I’d recommend having a script, or at least a rough guideline on what you plan to cover for that episode.
3: Don’t make the episodes longer than they have to be, the longer you go on, the more likely you are to go off topic, etc.
I hope this helps.
Another suggestion:
-Never, EVER scream or make loud noises (e.g clapping) near the recorder. Please.
Then … listen to yourself before you post the show?
Best of luck
