Hello and welcome to Further Progress. The show was initially titled Tolarian Academy several months ago, but I’ve had some people mention that there is another article column on Channel Fireball by the same name. To reduce Confusion I have changed the title to Further Progress.
Today we are discussing my Bant deck UGW and how it has transformed through the week. i compare and contrast my idea’s to kyle s. from Star City Games and give some insight on where i believe bant could go.
for future episodes or ideas please email me at deckbuilderradio@gmail.com

Loved getting to hear a bit more insight other than what is normally on DBR. I’ve been playing around in standard a lot lately, and its good to find decks that can beat jund other than other jund decks. I’d actually really like to have this as a weekly/ bi-weekly show. Great Job

why do the only creatures that have shround are the ones you can afford to lose? Cobra would be more succesful here. I know it’s over hyped but being able to drop a threat and protect it with counter magic is pretty nice. Lotus is also awesome with KoR. I would give you my deck list, but that would be giving away my tech. If you run Lotus, Heirarch, and KoR do you think there is need for such a large and akward mana base? What about something like this:
5 x Forest
3x Island
3x Plains
4x Misty
2x Catacombs
2x Sunpetal
2x Fortress
