This week on The Magic School Bus, James is sick, so we make it brief. We we take a quick look at the results of Pro Tour Vienna and Pro Tour Philly. We do a brief recap on the store finals at the city champs and we let Rob complain a little about it. We also answer a few listener emails and address some of the comments left to us at MTGcast.

Pro-black is a bitch. Phantom Centaur looks pretty hard to kill, short of Wrath. Strange how the metagame is completely different in two different GPs. Show’s how pre-registration scouting could pay off in the long run in regards to building a sideboard.

Have you considered Ancient Grudge as Anti-Lark tech? Killing their Mindstone or Lens turn-2 could set them back a turn, following up with LD in turn 4 and then Siege-Gang. It was quite short show, hope you get better soon.

Well come on, everyone knows Rob can luck sack his way with the best of them. Regardless however, you can’t really take away from his playskill as he’s obviously a really good player and is constantly up there at the top of the rankings out here in Mile-High land. For instance, even when Rob gets lucky against me, I don’t even come close to going on tilt because I know he has the ability to take a game regardless of the luck (granted it helps). O well, just figured I’d clarify that point, again good show and keep em up.
